any experience with the wm9 "refurb" sub?

Yes, I owned one of these, and the only real diiference was that it came with a scratched caseback, apart from that it was a very good Sub! You may find that yours comes with a slightly different flaw, but Im sure george could make you aware of the possible defect before shipping.
