Chanel J12 Diamond Bezel Chrono Quartz

Hi everyone,

at the end of July (23rd) I decided to buy my first rep. Chopard GTXL. I was waiting three weeks for the watch to arrive and when I contacted PT with inquiry how long will it take, he replied, that he already received the watch, but it had defective back saphire. It was on 12th of August. My girlfriends birthday was close, so I decided to change the order for Chanel J12 Diamond Bezel Quartz Chrono. I sent PT a link to the watch I liked and he gave me delivered price of 165GBP. The price was including box and papers and it was clearly stated in my order. My GF birthday is on 9.9., so we had aprox 28 days to deliver the watch.

The watch itself was sent on 26.8. and arrived on 3.9. Excelent, but where is the box and papers? I contacted PT immediately and he said, that the box was sent separately to avoid custom troubles. Well, I dont expect any trouble, when the watch was being sent from England to Czech Republic, which is inside EU and there is no custom inspection of the package. But it could be that the watch and the box were sent separated from china to UK, so I assumed PT was still waiting for the box to arrive. We still had 5 days left (6 maximum). Well, after another few days, PT decided to send another box directly from China, as he did not received anything.

My girlfriends gift was presented in non-genuine box I bought at local jewelery. The Chanel box arrived on 13th of september - 4 days late.

So, speaking of reliability of PT services, there are some issues, which I am not sure who to blame for. What I can say about PT is, that the communication was always very swift, friendly and customer oriented, so I doubt, that he would be so negligent to cause the delay in box delivery. I believe it was the fault on the manufacturers side.

Now about the watch:

What I like about the watch PT has delivered when compared to the one I sent him as a sample picture is, that he delivered watch with dark date wheel, so there is not white window disturbing on the dark face. On the other side, this dark date wheel has grey font, so it is little bit hard to read.

Another thing I dont like is the play in gears - the big second hand (the chrono second hand) is ugle loose and when it goes round the face, it starts with about half the distance between second markers play and closes with precise allignment. This is obviously gravitation working with the play, that causes the hand to be perfectly alligned at the end of circle and to be badly missaligned at its beginning.

And now, after 14 days of wearing the watch, I noticed my girlfriend lost the black insert on the crown. I have no idea how this happened. I will probably fill the crown with some black or maybe deep red lacquer.

Otherwise the watch looks very good and even local watchsmith was not suspecting anything when I brought the watch to him to adjust the bracelet. BTW, it was quite difficult and when he was returning the spare links to me, he advised me to keep them somewhere secure, as Chanel is not providing any spare parts to non-authorized watchmakers.

Oh, and also about the box - it looks cheap and the chrome plated edges of the box are peeling off. The papers have some misspellings, but otherwise, for the money, nice addition to the watch.

BTW, my girlfriend knew I was going to buy her replica and she does not care. :-)

Engraved on the back is basic info about the watch, I have no idea if it is as it should be, but who cares, as this version is not manufactured with quartz movement anyway :-)

Bracelet is very good looking and its finish is very convincing, no one will suspect anything cheap here.

So thank you PT for delivering good looking watch, I hope nothing else is going to fall off and that the quartz movement will perform well. So far the watch has been very precise!

THX guys, altough it is mens watch, my GF likes them and it suits her very well.

And although it is mens watch, I would not wear them.
