i was so close to buying this, thanks for the heads up and im so glad I checked on here first :)

as said above, fingers crossed that the issues are worked out soon as it is a cracking watch

Yeah I'm glad I asked the question before buying on impulse (I'd have about 10 useless pieces by now) it's just a shame as they're a great looking piece.

Think I'm leaning towards a Chopard now...but that'll probably change soon :bleh:

Ive had my RS2 for about 9 months and its still fine (knock on wood). Its built very well, just the strap lets it down

I've had one of these for about a year now. I love the look of the watch and compared it to the gen. It is very close. The date wheel being recessed is a problem on the rep, but the overall watch is very nice. The only complaint I really have on the watch is the second wheel is kinda slow and is not smooth. I guess this is due to the movement being the low-beat A7750.

I would rate the watch a 8 on a scale of 1-10 for correctness and quality.

I just got this one in and was very pleased with initial quality and accuracy of detail. So far no complaints, but this one isn't staying with me (nor was it intended to)for long anyway. I may end up getting one for myself though after looking it over real well.

I also brought in the Calibre 36, which I wasn't sure I'd like as much as I do. Another great choice IMO if you like this style.
