caseback o ring

hello all.... I have a question about the caseback o ring. I have opened the case on one of my watches. Should I grease the oring before I screw the case back on so it doesnt bunch up and get kinked? If so what should i use? Should I grease the crownguard o ring to?

You need to use Silicon grease. You can buy it at scuba/dive or camera shops. Grease all the rings before closing the caseback. The caseback o-ring should not bunch up.

Don't use too much...just a very light smear....just make the O ring surface appear moist, not have viewable grease globs present.
