Bignasty Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 So I got the "Ultimate" Fiddy from Andrew awhile back. The crystal popped spontaneously after it scratched. And in the process the dial was scratched as well. So I needed some parts. The minute hand was also finished a bit roughly as well. So I decided to do a bit of modding. I got in touch with Davidsend and ordered his Sapphire AR crystal, new dial, and capped hands. Well after several weeks of waiting for the new parts to roll of the assembly line I've gotten the watch complete. And might I say, I was planning on selling this watch once I got it all put back together but after wearing today I don't think that wil be happening anytime soon! This watch is a real beaut. Finepics Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 I agree with the comments about the capped especially as these new G series movts come with the correct height cannon pinion so you should have got Davidsens short tube hands for the "Ultimate Fiddy!!!
