frutta007
My friend bought a watch on www.canwatches.com. He didnt know that it was a bad idea until watches arrived.. It was really PoS... I dont know how that site is still in first positions in google. They got even photos of original watches on their site, and obviously its a SCAM site... He call his bank and they told him that he cannot do charge back, cause he already got the watches.. How can we punish those "canwatches" for selling bad stuff, so that others wont make same mistakes like my friend here?
ubiquitous
I hate to say it, but I'm sure that a good portion of members here have been scammed by sites like these at some time or another; myself included, several years back by Idealwatches/Replica Center. For me, it was a learning experience; an expensive one, but I have to say, I did learn my lesson! Unfortunately, I don't think there is much one can do to retaliate. It's beyond me how these sites can stay in operation; especially considering that some are even U.S. based! You'd think these would be prime candidates for easy pickings from a legal standpoint. Rather, the best thing you and I and any of us can do is to raise this kind of awareness on the forums. RWG was created with this in mind- To warn of the scams. mbjoer
Fakemaster has a really good list of scammers on RWI: http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/replica-watch-scam-dealer-list-44299.html This one is not on the list, but I have just asked him to add it. mbjoer
I cannot access this page "http://www.replica-w...list-44299.html"(( You may have to sign up with RWI. But that is no bad thing. It is another excellent rep-forum which complements this one very well.
frutta007
Just saw that list of Scam Dealers, its really a piece of gold , like someone wrote there. I only was surprised to see www.cool-watches.com there, cause i bought my second and then 3rd watch there, and it was all great. You can take a look if you want Maybe years ago it was hacked, but now its all good.
Kronofan
My friend just got one from those "canwatches.com".. Well..I told him:"What?!90 bucks??..you can't buy something real for that! " .When he recieved them and we opened that box..well,you should have seen his face. When he put them on I could hear him wearing those in 300 feet..You actually could sence it with your backbone that the guy over there is wearing a CHINESEE rep.I said:"umm..maybe you should use scotch to fix that..".We laughed and come to a decision that something is missing in site's name..The site should be called TIN-CAN-watches.com

Dealers do develop over time - in both directions. So it is good to know if this one has come good.
