mastergod
Hi, I recently bought some of these "asian 6497 gmt movements" from JacksonTse: http://www.jacksontse.com/mm083.html mostly due to price. Also, they need to fit 6497 cases so I thought I

mastergod
That's a typo. The watch you linked runs an auto movement. The 6497 (which is a handwind) does not support GMT functions. You are right. The linked page says its an automatic 6497 gmt movement - so thats what I ordered. Damn, shouldve known better! Thanks a lot for that clarification Greg. Wish I was a watchsmith, what a great skill it must be to possess. Aftyer years here on RWG I still don´t know don´t know my cannon pinion from my elbow. More noob questions to come... MG Edited November 23, 2009 by mastergod
