rolli
PVD Pam111: i thought why not a pam111 with pvd coating and super luminova C3. so i began the project. first i needed a pam111, this was easy. money and a good dealer. a good watchsmith -- i know. 1.) divide the case into individual parts. 2.) for pvd coating -- case without frontglass and case back bezel, crown, crown-guard with lever, screw-spindles, litlle screws. 3.) a company for pvd coating -- near 30 km from my location. 75% glass-ceramic and 25% corundum -- bead-blasting. presentation for the surface -- different pictures and various pvd-exemplar. the glass-ceramic-corundum mix makes the surface structure. then in a special vacuum machine the pvd coating. all case parts in one run. return pvd case to the watchsmith. intermediate came the super luminova C3 from the company RC Tritec / swisserland. divide of the sandwich dial, and lay on with super luminova, the same with the hands. be careful you need a perfect super luminova mixture for a better luminous power. super luminova have to dry for round about 5-6 hours. in a special stove with 60 degrees ca. 1 hour. ok, reassemble of the case parts, frontglass with gasket, crown with stem and new gasket-o-ring, crown-guard and lever, movement adjust and reassemble with the sandwich dial and hands. reassemble with the case, case back screw down, completed. a little bit later i get a new thicker pvd crown from palp. so this is my pam111 pvd. here some pics: enjoy yourself rolli PAM111 PVD with Strapmasters Croc Khaki:
