On the 17/12/09 Lidl are selling an ultrasonic cleaner for

I saw this tonight in one of our free papers. For 20 quid its gotta be worth a punt.

I used to do a lot a ultrasonic cleaning during routine maintenance of my C.N.C. Wire Eroders, mainly

Carbide and Ceramic machine parts. I also used a 10:1 solution of water and Altrans acid with a water rinse,

so I'm wondering, does using just water really do a good job on watches or is a cleaning agent used aswell?

I prefer that method as one wouldnt want to be seen in Lidl's
