hello members :)

im now at the point that i want a nice panerai :)

but i dont know realy which one to chose,i will spent roundabout 400dollars for the watch.

and the facts are that the one from Puretime with swiss movement and the available mods (canon pin and superlume) cost something about 360bucks.

and the one from sead with all his mods (swanneck, sapphire,cp,remove ar,superlume, dsn dial,t48cg would cost not that much more, i think it was 400.

but i dont know, here on the board i couldnt read that much about him here, but maybe someone of you can tell me, where i become more quality for the price, shuld i go to seed or with the lightli modded from the cartel, for a little bit less money?

maybe is there a review for both of the watches? or maybe some pics? i searched but i couldnt find that much, so please dont blame me for opening a thread for this :)

greetings from germany deniz :)

having not dealt with these dealers, obviously I cannot comment..

gotta be members out there that have.........lottsa views :thumbsupsmileyanim:

I think what denz is after is not who is "better" but who would fit his needs .. being in EU and customs being an issue.. these dealers are best suited for his needs..

and instead of sending the watch out for modding,.. which of these 2 choices would be best outta the box or if one were to do some mods before shipping it out.. which one would fit his needs of a really good 111H?

I'm assuming both are good.. but has anyone gotten a 111h from Snead where the lume was the best, CG already fixed.. High Cannon pin.. etc..or are the equal in what we deem .. modded outta the box without added modding needed ???

help the brotha out please.. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Well, with a Puretime one, to me you wouldn't be getting the two things that make a Panerai, a Panerai, the thick crown and thick CG. You'll be getting the standard 1.8~1.9mm crowns and thin CGs. With Sead, you're coming close with the T48 crown which is visually very close to the gen, and the CG, though not 100% accurate to a Gen/V/LH, is a huge improvement over the rep stuff. Also, his dials are DSN dials, which though not accurate, are also better than the cartel dials which feature the wrong cutouts for 2 and 6 and also the wrong printing for LSML.

Also, sead is a top bloke to deal with. I've dealt with him numerous times on RG, and he's helped me out so many times. And if you're in the US, no custom issues. So to me, the choice is simple, sead all the way, from the perspective of getting a better watch overall, and also due to service.

Also, recently he's also started offering to strip the AR on his 111s, which is not a bad idea as the stock Cartel AR is fairly strong blue.
