Is It Possible To Put An Eta Swiss Movement Into A Sub With An Asian Movement?

Hands will not fit, dial feet will have to be cut off and the dial glued to the movement, new stem required, most asians have a plastic case retainer ring which will not work on the swiss one...and the cost of all the parts and the time to do the work, is probably close to $150-200...

Cheaper to simply buy a Swiss powered model...

What The Zigmeister said! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

But seriously it can be done but its only practical if you can obtain a swiss movement cheaply. Also another issue is the date font. You'll need a properly aligned overlay for the date font. This is not uniform from model to model either.
