I'm a first time rep buyer and do not really wish to make additional mods. It is a rather expensive rep @ $400+. I tried searching around but haven't found any recent posts on it. I'll also throw a bit of a curve ball in there.... Would you rather get a DSN ultimate fiddy or a Josh PAM 220 as a starter watch? Budget is $500. Same pros and cons found in the Ultimate 104 apply. + Decent caseset + Great crystal/cyclops + Good datefont - Incorrect CG for I series, rep uses a contemporary looking CG and it should be a tapered-top historic polished w/ brushed lever - Incorrect caseback (taken from rep 104I) 220I was limited run of 400 units - 6 o'clock numeral should be open but since it's a recycled rep 104I dial it's closed - crown too close to case - L SWISS MADE L too close to 6 o'clock - CP cap on the hanstack is not polished and has micro lathe swirlies. those are just a few that come to mind. Then start "fixing" the flaws one at a time. Then get completely frustrated, and start all over again, if you can't live with the flaws.
