The rubber some how reduces the "je ne said quoi" of its look, in my opinion. I personally like leather straps, best in brown e.g. gator or similar. I would say maybe a black leather strap for me. Do let me know if you find anything good. If all else fails...I might get one of our on-board strap makers to make me one.
