Genuine crystal Luminor Regatta Flyback

Hi guys,

New here just registered.

I recently got a Luminor Regatta Flyback replica. The whole watch is a really really great job! Fonts, lume, movement all excellent.

Cost me around $600. The only thing is the crystal. Not perfectly clear and under certain light, you can see some markings on the inner side.

So i was wondering if there is a way to replace it with a genuine one. I think Panerai won't sell them.

Anyone know any other way?

Next, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but those crystals are not easy to source. However another member may have one, so you could put a WTB (Want to buy) post in the Wanted section of the forum.

Oh and finally, if you had been a member here before your purchase, you would have found out that the best rep version of that model would have only cost around $280 from our "trusted" dealers.

So better start browsing the forums

I have a gen crystal, gen cg, and a gen blue chrono hand for a 253. Sold mine before I got these parts. Waiting for another to arrive. I can tell you the gen crystal and gen blue hand makes a world of difference though. Will post pics when it is all done.

Just curious, how much did the gen crystal set you back? I really like watch, but I've already exploded one crystal.

Wow, a gen crystal for a pam253? The 253 was my first rep and is still my first love. Had to sell it because of the bad crystal.
