Golfman
Hi, I'm searching for a black croc strap and a deployant buckle for a Portuguese Chrono. Do you know where i could find it. Thanks for your help
doug
Try watchprince.com (in Oregon). They have a wide selection of croc and alligator straps and, I think, can put a deployment buckle on any of them. Then there's also banda.com. I'm also wanting a black, top quality, crock/alli strap for my iwc (must have "IWC" on the buckle)! Do I have to go gen to get this? Cheers. Watchwatcher
you can transfer the buckle from the rep strap over to a higher quality croc strap.
Bravo
you can transfer the buckle from the rep strap over to a higher quality croc strap. How would you do this? I may be wrong, but it looks like the rep buckle is sewn in (no sign of a screw on the end).
Golfman
I think that the most difficult is to find an IWC Rep deployant buckle. I've ask my favorite dealer, and it isn't available HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pugwash
How would you do this? I may be wrong, but it looks like the rep buckle is sewn in (no sign of a screw on the end). It's probably got a Springbar.

Watchwatcher
Jolly good - going to start looking for a decent 20mm black gator strap then! check this one out... i'm thinking this watch doesn't want something tooo distracting... basically subtle, high class, a bit of grain, but not too heavy, matte finish... clean lines... what do you think? http://www.banda.com/detail.php?from=catal...ord=&page=

Never had a croc/gator from them though. $80 is a good price, I was thinking it might cost as much as $120 for a real gator/croc strap.
rsv123
Does anyone know how wide the buckle end of the strap is? Is is 18mm or less?
Guest avitt
Looks good, I have had banda straps before and they are usually good. I've ordered about 3 alligators from them... All have a high quality look/feel, nice matte finish, nice padding. Plus, you can order in custom lengths and widths (both lug and buckle end). Buckle end on the chrono rep is 18mm. Edited September 5, 2006 by avitt
