usctrojans11 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Is it possible to put a Gen strap on the current 6.75. I have the A7750 version - was wondering before I made the big purchase and end up losing money.
Dizzy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Is it possible to put a Gen strap on the current 6.75. I have the A7750 version - was wondering before I made the big purchase and end up losing money. yes it will fit but i wouldnt bother.. the gen Bentley bracelet isnt cheap and the rep one is pretty good. Unless you are building a franken with gen dial and double AR etc etc i wouldnt really bother. what other mods have you done? I have a rep 6.75 with cheif double AR and it feels pretty darn close to the gen 6.75 I used to have. dizz
Eton Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Dizzy is correct! My 6.75 has Chief's AR, serviced & lumed by The Zigmeister...which is more than fine for me! Gen bracelet is not cheap at all and I don't think it's worth it personally. Out of all the bracelets on my Breitlings...the 6.75 is the best! Just my $0.02
usctrojans11 Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 My concern is that the black lining on the side of the leather of the bracelet is peeling off and its come completely off on one side. This exposes the leather which is an ugly white. It was covered by some sort of rubber material
Eton Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Ah...I would throw on a GEN strap (rubber or leather), it's the first mod on my list for each watch I get. Makes a huge difference
usctrojans11 Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 How much did you pay to get it lumed by Zig?
Eton Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Here's the pricing for The Zigmeister's work! http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/111047-prices-services-and-procedures/
