im a noob and currently in taipei, taiwan.

i'm looking for a rolex daytona 1a swiss rep.

anyone can recommend a good dealer out here in taipei?

Doesn't matter in Taipei or anywhere else in the world, the rep Daytona .. even the top priced on is a crap shoot .. the modded movement is too problematic.. unless you get very, very lucky.. don't expect the movement to last very long..

Even the upgraded movement has proven problematic.. I would suggest another rep.. and any of the dealers listed in the watch section would be good.. all the listed dealers are trusted and proven..
