Bike Mike
Wow, new watch from Breitling & it looks pretty cool! Wonder when will this be rep... Do you all like this? Got this today as well. Need a movement to make this a accurate rep. Do like the Pro Diver 2 strap over the Pro Diver 1 on these LE DLC models. bruce79
I saw one in person at the AD...wasn't that impressed. I prefer the Skyland blacksteel personally.
richard lawton
I was aware that it worked the same as my Emergency Mission The large second hand registers seconds. The second large second hand (Underneath the first) registers the minutes The sub-dial at 10.00 registers the hours and the sub-dial at 2.00 registers the 10ths of a second The sub-dial at 6.00 being the watch running seconds Pls correct me if I'm wrong but this is how my Genuine Emergency Mission works Regards Richard
alant
Wow looks like the factories may not be able to get the chrono function right due to movt limitations. Then again who often 'plays' with the chrono functions? So looks like skyland blacksteel still better made at the moment & a better choice too. But I realised I like the red rims around each of the chrono circles!
importr
The ETA G10-type (can't remember which exactly) quartz movt used in the Porsche Flat-Six rep will fit an ASC rep, no problem. The "Regatta" function is not a special function as such: all you do is manually advance the long minute hand using the crown and pusher, then start the chrono as normal. The "Regatta function" will then operate like a countdown timer for the last 10 mins (or whatever time you choose). This can be done on the ETA movt on my Flat-Six rep and my gen Avenger M1. They both work in exactly the same way. So, there is no real reason why the ASC can't be repped. The datewheel needs to be black. We could be talking about a Chrono Avenger (ss rep) case thats been DLC'd. Or the later Avenger Skyland case with old skool CA bezel. I for one would definately buy the rep, if they rep it from a genuine Blacksteel and not a normal version - repeating the mistakes they made with the Super Avenger Blacksteel!! Obviously they may not go to the lengths replicating having magnetic pushpieces as per the gen.... and on a side note: the Reppers are sooo gonna F this up with the lume, though! lol
