I've read every ROO quartz thread on every forum and still haven't found an answer to my question.

I understand the 7750 ROO casing is thicker/deeper than the gen. I have recently been told that the quartz casing (even if its described as similar to 7750) is even thicker/deeper than that? Is that accurate?

I want to buy a quartz ROO, but the idea of having a doubledecker bus on my wrist is not too appealing...

Here ya go.

Gen on left, rep on right. Caseback makes it thicker. A decent quartz will be the same size as the rep below.

I have the quartz rep and I would say that its the same as the 7750, about a 2mm thick caseback.

It fits perfectly on my wrist!

I had a quartz one some time back, thickness wise I would say similar to my 7750 maybe 1-2mm difference but you won't notice it with the naked eye unless you measure it. But take note the quartz one is very very light compared to my 7750.

Alant - thanks for that. I've heard the ROO is a bit of a heavy girl, so glad the quartz is lighter... :thumbsupsmileyanim:

But take note the quartz one is very very light compared to my 7750.

The quartz and auto reps are the same case depth. But the rehaut on the quartz is deeper (ie the dial sits lower) than on the secs at 12. Only really noticable once you put them side by side.

I am asking because i can find an EOD case for a project watch i am working,so if the case of the quartz can take a 7750 it will be awesome.
