deandavis
Hey all, Does anyone here have any experience resizing the rep Navitimer bracelet? I'm looking at buying this one: http://www.perfect-hour.com/bl10010-navitimer-black-dial-stick-markers-working-chronograph-p-1682.html I'd like to remove one link on either side. Any help would be greatly appreciated! DD
dannyboy
I have done it on mine a few years ago. It seems to me pretty straight forward. Are you having a particular problem? I will confess I have had a few tough ones and spent $10 to have a jeweler do it. This is a pretty easy one though...as I recall. Let me know if i can help. wimpie007
Remove the two screws, then pull on the end and it will come off, so for you to remove one link, you should remove 4 screws on both ends but do one end at a time

deandavis
I've tried this, but I've had difficulty removing the screws. What seems to happen in most cases is that 1 link can be removed fine, but the second link is more difficult. I've tried it twice, on different watches, and had different results. The first watch, when I tried to remove the screw it kept turning, there was no screw on the other side (to hold while loosening the other). And I can't really explain why this would happen. The second watch, I was successfully able to remove all screws, but then when trying to remove the last link the blank side of the link wouldn't pull out. The other reps I bought were under $120, and I'm wondering if these difficulties were a result of a lower quality strap used? Hopefully the new strap will be better. Thanks DD
