It uses an Asian 21J. Its a good movement, I bought one of Narikaa and it has been going strong for a good 9 months or so keeping great time.

If you want extra reliability and quality go the swiss eta.

But there is nothing wrong with an asian 21J.

Asia 2813 @ 21.6k beats an hour. It's a perfectly good movement if you get a good one as always, factory QC is questionable at best. If you get a good one it will last a long time. If you get a bad one, the date wont work properly etc etc ... and yes they are cheap to replace.

Yes they're cheap.. if anyone's interested i got a spare one brand new...
