txcollector
From what I've read the UPO construction won't accept the bezel (at least not without some serious modification). Your best option is to replace the bezel insert. There's a tread around that explains how to do that (not straightforward but not impossible either). veja74
Just now coming across this and yes, it has been discussed elsewhere. I have done it on my black bezel Casino Royale and on my pumpkin UPO. The gen bezel will not fit on the rep case no matter what you do. You have to do a bezel insert transfer. The bezel insert comes off the UPO quite easily, just remove the movement, pop the crystal and pry the insert off the bezel by inserting your thumbnail under it working your way around the bezel until it comes off completely, then clean off the remaining adhesive from the bezel. Now you need to work on pressing the gen insert out of the gen bezel, take your time pressing it out from the backside of the bezel, working your way around the bezel so you don't bend the insert. Once the insert pops out you will notice that it has a ridge of aluminum on the backside of it, this needs to be ground off. I use a dremel tool with a ball shaped grinder. I grind down the metal ridge and leave the backside of the bezel insert a little concave. Now you can glue it right onto the UPO bezel, I use GS Hypo Cement. As for getting it aligned correctly just make sure you have the line at "3" lined up with the crown tube and everything else will be perfect. Good Luck!
