JohnCraig Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 My UPO has been really great for 18 months, but today I go to set the time and can not get it to advance. The date still sets and I can move the time in reverse (only did that about 1/4 turn) but can not advance time - stripped. Is this a crown-tube issue or keyless works problem, or something more? Is it worth playing with it myself as a first go round or does this join the procession to Ziggy? Thanks.

FxrAndy Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 I would assume from not looking at the movement that the gears that transfer drive from the stem to the canon pin to adjust the time are worn and need replacing, a service would pick the problem up and the gears should not cost the earth
