Chronus Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I'm just wondering why they didn't use a bog-standard, undecorated ETA 6497 movement? This model has a closed back so you don't get to see the movement.
JWR Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 cheaper i suppose... isn't the 076 an automatic 7750 though?
Jos Nana Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I think primarily the reason is that Chinese unitas has a higher beat rate.. 21600 vs 19800. Just a wild guess.. Joshua
Watchmeister Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 The 076 is a typical 7750 in real life. The rep is an Asian 7750. After all, have you ever seen a date on a manual wind watch?
Quarks Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Any one gotten this watch yet? I am hungry for one..... but I am not allowed to spend anymore....
