dangerous9
This one was fun because my customer wanted me to build a duplicate of my personal BR02 strap with the exact color and markings, but slightly longer for his 7.5-7.75" wrist. I really love making these straps as there are so many technical challenges to get right and so many ways to go wrong from getting the exact shape and setting us the stamps for the "BR" and "&" just right and in this instance to getting the color to be and exact match. I hand mix my color, and apply many lightened layers of my brown dye, so I have more control over the final color in each individual strap, but as a result, it can be a real challenge to match 2 different straps done at different times. I'm glad I had my strap in hand, so I could compare them as I built up the color. Anyway, these are the projects that when they turn out right are a lot of fun and when the go wrong, I just want to pound my head on the table This one turn out pretty, good I think, so I had a good night! Just click in the photo below and it'll take you to my slide show. I hope you all enjoy:
