paralizer Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Guys, please reply or PM with link to tutorial how to do the fix on flimsy lever. Thanks in advance. Can't find the link for the tutorial but I can try to expalin it below: remove CG pin, remove lever, squeeze hot glue in lever hole and scrape off excess. place lever back in CG. remove glue from gun but leave plugged in. heat up pin with gun tip and push pin back through CG pin hole. the gun will slowly heat up the pin which will melt through the glue until it is in again. then make sure it is flush and let it cool. should do the trick. I hope that isnt too confusing but its way easier than it sounds. I do it all the time to the watches I make for friends.
Drulee Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 Apparently something called Gorilla Glue (instead of the GlueStick)) works just as well, but I forget which colour, and can't find the thread either.
jcrry2 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 i put the hot glue in the lever and it cools real fast. i was having some problems getting it put back together befroe the glue set so i put the pin and lever in the oven at about 170F for about 5 minutes then i put the cg back together. it heats it all up and makes it way easier.
