ETA 6498 for IWC Portuguese 1939

I got an IWC Portuguese 1939 from Josh, and I really like it.

I saw ofrei offers the ETA 6498 movement and I am wondering if I can fit the movement to my 1939.

Has anyone done this before?

I see not reason why it should not fit, the Asian versions of this movement are very close in every dimension to the Swiss, my question is why would you want to make this swap?????

I am planning the next one with her, we are thinking 2892, in a PVD radiomir case, home made movement holder, with a pilot dial and hands and converting the movement to single position crown for authentic feel

Did you discuss with her what she wants before doing a project? She's definitely learning a lot from this.
