shultz
Hi forum, I am after an U-Boat watch but as I don't know how a 50mm tank will fit my wrist I wont spend a huge money. So I did the search on alternative sites and found a dealer on ioffer with very low prices. It is quite interesting that he is showing the same watches/ qualities offered by our trusted dealers. So I am not sure whether to order or not. I am concerned he will not deliver a 7750 but a "chrono" movement with calendar function or something else. Same to his other models. I might be wrong. That would be nice because prices are quite good. Here is a link: http://de.ioffer.com/i/AUB012-U-BOAT-THOUSANDS-OF-FEETS-CHRONO-BLACK-SS-7750-50mm-122544209 What do you think? Any experiences with that dealer?
Sparty
Interesting. Anyone have any leads on a 43mm U-Boat?
Zhukovskii
Hi, Been on iOffer as well, bought some watches. Actually bought an U-boat as my first rep. Quartz though... My experience and advice: for high(er) end reps: ioffer is a no-go. Probably all the sellers are dropshippers. In the end you'll pay at least the same compared buying from the (so-called...) trusted dealers found on the boards. If you're looking for a certain model for not too many $$$ take your chance but as far as it comes in buying reps ioffer will be defeated by the more commen dealers. BGGodwin
I've bought two watches on iOffer... and that was two too many. The first was a U-boat Classico and it was NOTHING like what was pictured. When I finally got it and realized, the seller had disappeared (I think this happens often: look at how long they have been members, many have been for less than 30 days). Then, a little while back, I bought an automatic Panerai with a GMT hand. The GMT hand took nearly three days to travel 360 degrees and the replica is no where close to what it should be. Luckily, I got that one handled and got my money back. IMO, if you want a quality replica, order from one of the sellers on this forum. If they don't have the model you want, chances are quality reps of that model are few and far between. I learned the hard way and unfortunately it took two experiences and a lot of headache but I did learn and I will never buy a watch on iOffer again. rek001
iOffer used to be OK, but most of the decent dealers left some time ago, I'd stay away.
