  1. I ran into this problem too... but mine went beyond Subs. I wanted Subs and SDs. My wife said they all look the same but the problem is they are not the same!
  2. Unfamiliar with them however your best bet is to stick with the trusted dealers on the forum.
  3. +1... Surprised this thread has lived this long!
  4. They are on the home page... Scroll down and you'll find 'em
  5. And see, I really like it... One of my favorite watches I own. I really like the feel of it and the weight of it.
  6. The six and the nine look funny to me...
  7. Funny. If you had even marginal intelligence you would realize that you got RIPPED OFF and people on here tried to help you before it happened and now that it has happened, no one cares to hear your attempts to validate why you ignored the advice in the first place or how you got a super nice rep. The fact is you ignored people who have been in this world for years and disregarded the sellers that sell a quality product for a reasonable, fair amount of money. Enjoy your watch but every time you check the time just remember, you've got a watch worth $100 on your wrist that you spent $900 for...
  8. You paid way, way too much... Even if it is a "really really nice rep".
  9. Very nice, where did it come from? Is the date wheel font a little big or is it just the angle?
  10. If you can get a BK, do it... I think those are the best readily available Sub
  11. On the main page, scroll down a little ways and you'll find all the dealers... Joshua is number one, Andrew (Trusty Time) is number two in most people's eyes for the typical reps.
  12. Use the trusted dealers from the forum, there is no reason not to...
  13. Shoot Bill (TJGladeRaider) a PM... He has a lot of experience with the MBWs and has a lot of them. I'm sure he could either answer your question or may even have the parts you need!
  14. Welcome. On the main page, scroll down and you'll find all the trusted sites, most with reviews from fellow members. Josh (Perfect Clones) and Andrew (Trusty Time) are the two "big ones" around here.
  15. If I'm not mistaken, Josh and Andrew are really the only two who are in the vintage market... like seafoam, I have a MBW 1680 and love it. A big mod that will have to be done is the drilling for larger spring bars (unless you buy a used watch where it has been done). I've had that done as well as a gen crown put on. The desires list includes crown guard shaving and a lume-job. Depending on how into the mods you want to get, do some research on which watches accept gen parts. I'm wanting to start a 5512/5513 project and need to follow my own advice... Regardless, welcome and enjoy!
  16. I'm wondering if a 5512 or 5513 is in my future. The more I see of them around here, the more I like them: the dome crystal, clean-looking dials... So, first of all, which one? Is one "better" than the other? Ultimately, I'd want to add gen part to it which leads me into my next question: where should I look to get one? I know Josh sells them but know nothing of their quality. And can they accept gen parts. Or am I better off looking on the for sale forum? Any information (and pictures) are greatly appreciated as always?
  17. Love this watch... looks great!
  18. If you're looking for 100%, go buy a Rolex... Even the best are not perfect. Sounds to me like even if you buy yourself a high quality rep, you won't be satisfied because you'll focus on the minor flaws.
  19. Don't listen to the Replica Watch Report... a bunch of BS is what I've heard. Stick around here and keep buying from Andrew, Josh, and/or the others listed on this site! You'll get WAY better information here than you will over there! Oh, and welcome! With five watches, it sounds like you're off to an amazing start!
  20. +1 on super... I always go to Google and use site:rwgforum.com followed by what I want to find.
  21. Glad you got it worked out! I've contacted Katt before and is a great guy
  22. Hello and welcome! 1) When they say they dissected a watch, it means they took a genuine and took it apart and then formed the replica pieces to "be just like" the genuine. There is a huge hobby around here for adding gen parts to a rep to make it a franken. 2) That's exactly what it means. Usually anything under around +/- 20 a day is considered accurate. And it appears db2 types faster than me!
  23. How loose is it on your wrist? Seems as long as it wasn't bouncing all over the place, it would just wind it for you!
