mactower
Hi Folks, From what I have seen with Josh and Andrew, they seem to carry the BP 5004 in Stainless Steel though I was wondering whether anyone carried it in white gold or plated white gold? Cheers, M.
nakortheblue
The 'white gold' version exists but is still SS. Do you really want a plated one which looks exactly the same as SS and will peel off eventually?
mactower
No, you're right, I just thought if there may be a "better" version of the case and I thought if I would be able to source that somewhere, I may bite. I read a post a while back in January about a member pairing a white gold 5004 on an OEM gator band and the photos looked gorgeous.
ubiquitous
You can probably get the case rhodium plated... Which is essentially what white gold would be (rhodium plated gold)...
nakortheblue
Hmm... Is it a polished finish or brushed? Can't really tell...

I might be wrong but as far as I know, it's not that easy to rhodium plate stainless steel.
ubiquitous
Artisan can plate SS... Rhodium Plating FAQ What are the most common decorative objects that Metal Arts Specialties plates with rhodium? Our most popular items plated with Rhodium are products made of sterling silver. Silver chains, bracelets, cuff links and holloware being the most frequently plated items. We are also plating stainless steel watch cases and men's accessories with rhodium to replace their original chrome finishes. So, it seems as though the case could be plated, but of course you'd still not have the true weight of 18k 750 gold as the base metal...
