  1. Nice strap mate! Mind if I ask where you picked it up?
  2. Just received mine today, such an awesome piece. M.
  3. 5 weeks now, zero issues, in and out of the pool, direct sunlight etc. No color degradation, no lume degradation. M.
  4. The IWC 3719 Slevin has a rotating bezel behind the crystal as well. M.
  5. Hi Edge, do you have a link or an email for contact? Thanks, M.
  6. Thanks for the ALL CAPS, though you can get a gen timewalker chrono for just over 2 grand. Unless you love the look I don't think it's worth the money.
  7. Close to a month now, zero issues with mine, with daily wear, swimming and tons of tanning. Sorry to hear that some didn't fare so well though the batch that mine came from is perfect. Cheers, M.
  8. 3 weeks now, full sunlight for quite a large part of the day, zero degradation in the colour or lume. M.
  9. Anyone get their QA pics yet? I have a TX Crystal ready to go for this bad boy, just wondering how the HE valve looks etc. M.
  10. Mine is still going strong after 2 weeks, zero discoloration, spends long hours in direct sunlight... M.
  11. Andrew (trusty) just sent out a newsletter indicating the PAM 187 with an A7753 will be released very soon. This is great news!
  12. It's up on Josh's site! Check out the pics. No info or price yet.
  13. Number of large brands exempt from the diagram. Interesting though.
  14. I can certainly understand that as I've spent some time in Amsterdam. My reference was more to the Wall-mart, K-Mart type department stores here in North America that used to have a red light go off over the "specials" to draw attention to that particular item. Also, urban dictionary is not kind to the phrase "red light special".
  15. That watch could do a cajoolion things and connect to everything and it still screams red-light special. Also, my phone does all that with a legible screen. Mechanical > Quartz > Digital. M.
  16. +1 on where you got those sweet watch boxes. Awesome collection by the way.
  17. I think most of the tourby movements are stock so I don't know how 1:1 you would get the movement. That being said, if you look at the number of people that know enough about watches as being like 1 in 100,000, those that would know a tourbillon would be a small fraction of that already small number. That being said, could you expect to pull off a $80,000+ watch? Not you personally, though if you're not mentioned somewhere in fortune magazine, most of us could not claim to own the genuine article. M.
  18. I bought a fantasy AP rep tourby and it's AMAZING. Like Ubi mentioned, not nearly enough occasions to wear it, but it's definitely an asset to the old watchbox. M.
  19. LOL, not nearly as much as expected though the office is very empty today.
  20. Don't worry, there will be a line a mile long of women that will undermine your masculinity in short order.
  21. Dude. It's Chanel. If you have to ask...it's metro (minimum). Buy a proper diver. Or ask yourself, how would this go down at the pub with your mates? "Hey guys, check out this new watch I just picked up...it's Chanel." Yeah right. M.
