I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this:

lol even though I said to me self I wouldn't buy another rep, this is the last one I promise. But what puts me off is the Helium Release Valve looks too dark is this in keeping with this super rare original?

Looked on the net but can't find any pictures of the org.'s valve, so perhaps you have some ref in a book or personal knowledge?? and what are you thoughts on the general build of the rep??

I doubt the HEV is that dark. Typically it's just a shade darker. I think these are just modified SSD's- super sea-dwellers.

You could check out another dealer- this pic isn't much better- but it isn't black!

You could also try writing watcheden and asking about the HEV.

other dealers also have this watch, check around.
