Hi Guys,

Can you tell me if all balances fir the 1570 have screws on the rim? One I am looking at does not seem to. Didn't know if later ones did not. Thanks!!!!

To be honest, I am not quite sure? All of my Rolex parts & service manuals show 1530/157x balances with adjustment screws. But I have seen a number of gen watches with balances without them. I think I read something about chronometer spec movements having a different balance, but I have been unable to substantiate that, so I am not sure what to tell you.

Thanks Freddy,

Most of the movements I have seen have a screwed balance with microstella screws. I am assuming that this one still uses microstella screws but am going to ask. After posting, I searched for more pictures and noticed a few others with smooth balances. I think they are gen but don't know why the difference. Thanks for the help!!!!
