I had this happen to me - and I say "hey - I will just drill it out and use the springbar instead of screws." It totally did not work. The reason - is that the screw potentially has a different hardness than the case - and it is hard to keep the damn thing straight. In the end - I had to toss the case. Very sad. I was [censored].
