Double signed Tiffany 1680's do exist...

Yes, I've seen the Tiffany one, but not sure about the Cartier.

Oops... Yeah, for some reason, I was thinking your thread was about Tiffany. Cartier dials also exist... Double signed, and I believe issued with two sets of papers. I have some pics of one... I'll see if I can dig them up...

I'll have to check my machine at home; I just went through all my 1680 pics here on my office machine, and no luck.

I seem to recall that the Cartier signed Rolexes also had the lug stamped/signed as well. Could be mistaken in that, but that characteristic does stand out in my mind.

Yes & I believe there are pics in someone's book (Dowling maybe).

Thank you freddy. Does it have the white or silver dw?

The datewheel should be silver, brushed finish with the typical flat 3's and open 6/9 (except 26).

I believe these were produced sometime around 1970.

Thank you R. It's a good project then when Stan get more of them. I have an extra 2836 with the silver dw.
