panerai153
Question? Will a genuine Rolex GMT MAster II dial fit a WM or MBW GMT Master II Rep? I was under the impression, possibly false, that the WM/MBW cases were only 1:1 in the vintage ROlex models.
Jetsons
These modern Rolexes (WM/MBW/whatever) are definitely not 1:1 made. 100% not. Else my bezel insert would have popped in... Oliver, what kind of mods did the gen GMT Master insert need? Does it have to be ground paper thin as in the OEM 16610? Would the width be a problem? Yep, the vintage MBW/WM are the only way to go if splurging on OEM parts. It's a thing of beauty when those gen inserst easily snap in place. docblackrock
Tribal, I have a feeling I have a spare 16710 dial in my parts bin. Will have a look tonight and post a pic if so.

Please PM me... RG tribal Sorry for the delay Tribal - been away on business trip. Also I'm not getting notification - and my PM box seems to have become full overnight, WTF? Try emailing me maybe? Re. date window position, well it came off the 'industry-standard' CN rep with ETA if that helps. I'm waiting on the final piece of jigsaw on a 1675 project - same as Randy's - bit of a complicated parts swap involved also, and would prefer to hold onto the dial 'just in case' for a little while (a month maybe?). If the surgery goes well, and you're patient and don't mind waiting a little while I'd be happy to sell you the dial. As for how much, I really don't know, maybe you have some parts I might be interested in to trade? LMK cheers Doc
