Swiss chrono engine swap

Does anyone know if ETA caliber C01.211 is the same as Valjoux 7750? They have the same lay out, and both by ETA. I wonder if an engine swap using the ETA caliber C01.211 would fit typical A7750 watches and their dials.

Any WIS's know if this works? ETA caliber C01.211 can be accessed easier than straight Valjoux 7750. If it fits exactly like A7750, it would make a great engine for reps.

Agreed... I'd love to know if this works myself. It would allow me to "resurrect" a few of my favorite reps that died untimely A7750 deaths.

If anyone knows if this will work - let us know?
