nyquiz
Hey Folks, I just picked up a slevin and I'm having a problem changing the day of the week. From what I can tell one should unscrew the crown and pop it out to first position. Turning the crown clockwise changes the number and counter clockwise should change the day of the week, however the day isn't changing. Any tricks to this or am I just doing it wrong? pafre
Many slevin have this problem caused by a faulty retainer if I'm not mistaken. Can be corrected by someone who knows how and I think there is a tutorial on it somewhere on the forum.
esco
Gears on day/date wheel might be stuck. This is a common problem on Asian 7750 movements. Best bet is to invest in a swiss 7750 and have a watch smith perform a swap, or... attempt to have the A7750 repaired and hope it doesn't break again. nyquiz
Thanks for the input everyone. I've got this one figured out! Although I do have a new IWC on the way with a swiss 7750!
