By-Tor Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 People have posted lots of photos in HUGE resolutions lately. They take forever to load, even with a standard 2Meg connection. There's absolutely no reason to post/embed images larger than 1024 x 768, unless it's a special decorated wallpaper or such. Whenever I see a post that has say, 10 gigantic sized pictures... some of them have been over 4000x, even I just press the backspace and go back to the previous page. Waiting the page to load for 2 minutes is just too much. Not to mention people who have slower connections. I understand that not all people have Photoshop, but even a freeware Irfanview is capable of resizing the images. http://www.irfanview.com/ This is not a complaint... just a suggestion. Please don't post 'em straight out of the camera but resize your pics for nicer and faster forum viewing!
freddy333 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 And please do not repost a set of pics & then add just a line or 2 at the end.
