athan
Hi to all, Back again with some new questions on the blue Bond SMP 2531.80.00. I was inquiring about a replacement sapphire crystal and I asked Krysworks what they have available. I asked for a crystal with single AR on the inside, transparent, no tint. They reply promptly, saying that they actually offer a "2.5 x 30.5 sapphire with single side AR, but there is a slight blue hue in the AR coating if you look at it from a certain angle" They claim that it is made to the exact genuine spec. Since I don't have any experience with the gen I kindly ask for your contribution on that. On the pictures it seems that it doesn't have the bluish hue... So, does the gen 2531.80 blue Bond SMP have or not a slight blue hue under certain angles? Many thanks for your replies :-) Athan PS. Mesh sexiness eye candy... By-Tor
That first pic looks like it's been heavily Photoshopped (blue hue has been added with the PS saturation feature). It doesn't look quite that blue, ever. SMP has a single AR but the tint isn't that strong. Nothing compared to PO anyway.
athan
Thank you By-Tor So there is actually some little blue tint? are the Krysworks right?
By-Tor
There is some blue tint in certain lighting but it's very weak. Not even worth mentioning, especially if you compare it to some watches that have strong double AR. The tint effect in the 1st pic looks fake and PS'd. I personally have no experience with any of both, maybe someone else does?
