thepoet
I am interested and really like the look of the B & R Phantom but I've seen reports that they are difficult to read. I have pretty bad eyesight and wondered how bad they are and if I should probably go with the same watch with white hands and sub dials cheers
Lobster
Hi Buddy, I don't have the best of eye sights but it isn't bad either and I have difficulties reading that dial at times. If you looking for something legible then go for the white numerals just in case. Good luck with the choice.
Bike Mike
Owned the Gen for afew months...was a pain to read and a quick glance. Got tired of having to move it in the right light to read it so traded it up for the new B&R Pro Ti.
Member X
None of the reps are accurate to the gen as the 'lume' is too light grey rather than the dark grey of the gen. If you have dodgy eyesight I would definitely say go for the white digits/hands version - after all, it is designed to look like a cockpit instrument, which is itself designed to be easy to read in all conditions and in a wartime environment It's the only one I can read from across the room while I'm in the shower lol
thepoet
Cheers guys, it makes sense to get the white digits and hands. I was tempted by the looks of the phantom but will take the advice.
