Bezel Correction work

Recommended Posts

So I have a pro-hunter submariner that I bought off someone here awile back. Anyway it looks like they replaced the bezel at some point but did not sand it down enough to fit in properly. It seems it was glued in with something very tough (gorilla glue I'm assuming). I was wondering if there was any good way of getting this bezel out so that I could sand it properly. I dont want to force it out and snap it in half if I don't have to lol. I'll post some pictures if needed but I think it seems pretty self explanitory.

If the bezel was cemented in place, the only remedy is to find something that will release the cement (denatured alcohol, nail polish remover, etc). Assuming the bezel was not cemented, the usual method for bezel removal is to wedge a non-serrated knife in-between the bottom of the bezel & top of case & gently pry the bezel off the case.
