Need suggestion for buying an Arktos 092,186 or 252?

I've been looking for an Arktos for a while, just wondering who has the best version of these models? and which one is more accurate and easy to mod?

I don't have one (yet) but from what I can tell is that Josh/andrew did the best version, I'm not sure if they still have them.

There are cheaper non A7750 version but they have really bad Date fonts and Mags so I would avoid those even though the price looks good.

Get one of the ultimates as these have the best crystals and Date wheels. I did read that the bezel markers have a tendancy to pop off so a quick whiz of some glue might be an idea.

I think the 400$ price has always put me off but from what I can gather they are a quality watch.

Just picked up a 186 from Josh...Nice watch, accurate time keeper, with great wrist presence. Will be doing a couple of mods (sending to Vac to lume, Dental floss bezel mod). So far I really like it. Serivce from Josh was excellent. Order to wrist in 8 days to the upper midwest.

I have a 252 from Josh. Other than the DW, dental floss mod and the usual CG issue, it's pretty spot on.

I think I'll put a 2G or Leo DW in it and call it done.

The 186 is a great rep but definitely you will need to send to Vac or The Zigmeister for lume, put a T48 and a DW upgrade. The CG is not 100% correct and it could get an upgrade there too (maybe a sembo or LH).

Very nice looking watch. I'm wearing mine at the moment (with the above mods).
