Handed over to Customs?

Guys, so I was checking my tracking data for a watch earlier today, and it was handed over to Chinese customs! Is this normal (and the watch will continue on its route(, or have the Chinese recently realized that they produce counterfeit goods and my watch is a gonner?

This is normal, everything goes through customs in China.

it may also take a few days, or not even show as being released!

It could turn up on your doorstep and you think it is still awaiting clearance.
