Janek Sarnowski Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 (edited) This is a vintage Zenith pocket watch,which i've inherited after my gread grandfather,whom i never knew.It was given to me by my great grandmother in 2006.The movement is the famous Zenith 18.28.1.PE and this particular one was made in Besancon,France.Since the factory didn't keep records of produced watches,i can't tell precisely when it was made.He wore this watch until the day he died,i even have the leather case thay my grandmother made for him.You can see the marks from where it was sawn to his jacket (last photo).
