highoeyazmuhudee
was wondering if the autowind assembly on a 2836 and a 2846 are compatible. i just got a 2846 and when manually winding the movement the rotor spins furiously as well with every turn of the crown, everything else works perfectly. was thinking installing a new assembly (reversing wheels part) would fix it... or maybe its an even more simple fix than this. btocamelo
You and me are in the same boat....as you said, think it's the reversing gears....but a good service could probably fix that. where you get the movement...an Ecto watch? highoeyazmuhudee
yep im thinking oil, if you look at the schematics it'll make sense why its sticking and spinning. might be easier to service that part myself than make some sort of Frankenstein movment with gold and nickle parts Edited September 29, 2010 by highoeyazmuhudee
