Rolexious Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 After being a Rolex and vintage Rolex and Panerai rep geek for the past few years I was running out of watches I "had" to have and thought it might be time for a Breitling. They are beautiful but always seemed a bit overly fussy and blingy but found one from a member on the rep sales link and purchased what I understand to be the BCE Graphite dial V2 with updated datewheel. The watch and bracelet are quite impressive and appears to be a very accurate rep. My one concern is the bezel. The bezel is ever so slightly rotated 1/2 minute marker in the counterclockwise direction and the 12:00 marker with pearl does not quite line up with the dial. Sort of 11:59:30 if that makes any sense. There are small screws located all around the side of the bezel assembly. Are these "set" screws that when loosened will allow me to rotate the bezel or is there another solution or NO solution? Thought I would ask before I screw anything up. Thanks in advance from this noob.....
cougaree Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 The bezel screws are fake. They are not holding the bezel in place. To fix your issue, you will need to remove the bezel tabs and then remove the bezel. After that you can adjust the bezel ratchet spring (the height of the little tabs) to make your bezel centered.
cougaree Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Unfortunately, the bezel is not guaranteed to be removed easily. You might bent the bezel in process.
