Limestone Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Hi! Thought about bying a vintage whatch for my collection. Something different from the "usual ones" So I found this Yema watch, with supposely a Breitling movement. (Breitling valjoux 7750) The watch is from 1969, and missing one of the chrono pushers. Maybe the pusher is hard to find as a spare? Do anyone have any knowledge of this brand/ watch. Is it Ok
patinga Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Actually from what I have read on Yema (I'm using a Yema for it's 7734 in the 7032), it's a fairly old (1948) French watchmaking company. They are actually still around: Yema. It's a nice piece and I'm sure if you look around you could probably find a pusher.
PeteM Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 You can find a pusher on any street corner!!! Thats actually a nice watch!! Like the design and even more so considering the age!! What size is it? and if you dont mind what did it set you back?? Congrats:thumbsupsmileyanim:
chiman12 Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Very nice! Reminds me of the Omega racing dials. Are you sure it is a 7750 and not a 7733? But what Pete said, those are simple, but readily available chrono buttons.
Limestone Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 Well I didn't buy it yet.. It's still under bidding. Right now It's up to $100. Don't know what it's worth, but I also found the design very appeling for that age. That's why I asked you guys about it :-)
Limestone Posted October 23, 2010 Author Report Posted October 23, 2010 Well, the bidding is over and it ended at $330 So I let it goe...looking for another vintage (or I will put my money on modding one of my other reps )
Star69 Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 it doesn't looks like a stainless-steel-case to me = way to expensive
