Just about to purchase my first Panerai, and got qc-pics. But is this cg any good? Please advice :)

Looks good, the lever sticks a little too far out of the CG, but that flat-top CG pin more than makes up for it. ^_^

Just be careful with that DW though, there could be the date alignment issue there.

cheers,

The CG doesn't fit the case very well. The angle of the CG does not match the angle of the case. Look at the gap near the tips of the CG.

Thanks :) Going to take a look at that when I get it :)

What are you going to do once you have it? There are two options to remedy this. Bend the CG (which can cause the CG to rub with the crown on the 12 oclock side) or have someone file the CG to the correct angle. Either remedy would not be as good as having them get you a different CG while the watch is still in China.
