mr mg
Hi guys, I have spent about 12 months pouring over the dealers sites and of course RWG to try to understand the differences between the various versions of the syland avenger black steel. I fell in love with photos that Lani put up (breit porn) in a welcome message when I joined up here ages ago, but the Nav. was always top of the list! I am going to buy off Joshua again, as he's always done a great job with the post sale assistance etc. I haven't asked him yet about the models, and know this is an obvious thing to do. I'm not being lazy, but just want to understand what I am asking for. I don't like regrets If any of you can tell me your experience or understanding between these models, I would be greatful. And yes, I have read the reviews I can find here in a search. Although they don't always seem to come up in the searches (probably not using it correctly...). These are the 3 I'm looking at; http://www.1-pc8838.com/0blsa10004-skyland-avenger-chrono-pvdru-black-a7750-28800bp-p-5774.html cheaper. Looks the same as v2 dial and chronos, embossed numbers etc. Names a different coating?? http://www.1-pc8838.com/blsa10018-skyland-avenger-chrono-black-steel-limited-p-5159.html infamous v2 http://www.1-pc8838.com/blsa01004-blacksteel-limited-super-avenger-pvdru-7750-p-8061.html and the 48mm dial Sorry to ask basic questions, that have no doubt been answered before. But I'm just getting more confused the more I look. Especially as the specification conventions seem to be inconsistent... thanks mg
chronoluvvv
the cheaper 44mm skyland is cheaper for a reason, its coating quality is the same as the bigger SA 48mm the 44mm v2 is the one to get here's mine the 48mm SA is quite nice too but i would have gotten some aftermarket DLC if i had planned on keeping it loose bezel kept on pissing me off though here's my old one
mr mg
maaate, thanks so much for the reply! That 48 wears so huge!! So it all comes down to the coatings then hey... It's interesting that a simple coating would increase the price by so much? But it's one of those watches that just has to be spot on, or I know I'll regret it later. thanks again Chrono for the info and the great pics, I appreciate it! chronoluvvv
sounds good, keep an eye out for the lume dots. The SA's are spot-on, the Skyland not so much
